Our company founder, Ray Starrett, and his wife Linda, who is an integral part of the business, started Star-Ray Pipeline in 1976 with a Ford backhoe and dump truck. Since then, the company has prospered and grown into a top-quality underground pipeline contractor. After more than five decades, Ray's experience and extensive knowledge of the trade are a great asset to our crews. He has gained the respect and admiration of inspectors and superintendents.
Vice President and chief estimator RJ Starrett joined his father in 1988 after spending many summer breaks learning the ins and outs of the trade. With his old-school work ethic instilled into him by his father, he embraces new technologies and is always searching for more efficient ways to keep the company successful and competitive. RJ’s commitment and understanding of the client’s specific needs contribute to the project’s overall success.
Office Manager Sandy Rath, who joined our team in 2012, is responsible for many financial functions, including payroll, insurance certificates, accounts payable and accounts receivable. With over 40 years of construction administration experience, she is the glue that keeps the office running.
